This Privacy Policy explains how our PrestaShop plugin (“the Plugin”) accesses and uses Google Analytics data through Google OAuth authentication.
The Plugin is provided free of charge and is designed solely to allow users to view their own Google Analytics statistics directly within their PrestaShop back office.

2. Data Accessed
With the explicit consent of the user, the Plugin accesses Google Analytics data using the following OAuth scope:

  1. https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly

This scope allows read-only access to Google Analytics reporting data.
No other Google services or data are accessed.

3. Purpose of Data Usage
Google Analytics data is accessed exclusively for the purpose of:

  1. displaying analytics statistics to the authenticated user,

  2. in real time or on demand,

  3. within the Plugin interface.

The data is not used for profiling, marketing, advertising, or analytics outside of the Plugin.

4. Data Storage

  1. Google Analytics data is not stored, logged, or persisted on our servers.

  2. Data is retrieved temporarily and displayed to the user only.

OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are:

  1. stored securely on a dedicated server,

  2. used only to authenticate requests to the Google Analytics API on behalf of the user,

  3. never shared with third parties.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, rent, or transfer Google Analytics data to any third party.
Access to the data is strictly limited to:

  1. the authenticated user,

  2. the Plugin’s backend services required to retrieve and display the data.

6. Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect OAuth credentials and API access, including:

  1. secure server infrastructure,

  2. restricted access to tokens,

  3. encrypted communication channels.

7. User Control and Consent

Users explicitly grant access to their Google Analytics account via Google’s OAuth consent screen and may revoke access at any time from their Google Account settings.

8. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if necessary to reflect changes in functionality or legal requirements. Any updates will be published on this page.
